Grant scheme for insulation of owner-occupied homes temporarily increased

Good news for homeowners who want to make their home more sustainable: up to 30% of insulation costs can be reimbursed by the government until 31 December 2020. The 2020 holiday pay has been paid, and maybe you were thinking of investing it in your home this year. The new sustainable measures will enable you to reduce energy bills and increase your living comfort. Anyone who has two or more parts of their house insulated will be reimbursed by the government for up to 30 percent of the costs (instead of 20 percent previously) until 31 December of this year. The extension will apply from 1 June for measures implemented between 1 June and 31 December.

The Energy Savings Grant Scheme (SEEH) has been in place for some time. In order to accommodate homeowners in these uncertain times, the scheme has been temporarily extended. In order to qualify for the grant, you must take at least two measures to insulate your property. For example, by having the floor, the outer walls or the roof insulated.
