Step 1: Inventory of requirements

THE SEARCH - FINDING A MATCH Step 2

Step 2: The search begins

Your buying agent will conduct a search and you will receive regular email notifications with new property listings. Our A&N team at the office scour the housing market every day to find properties that meet your requirements.

We will discuss any suitable homes with you. What are the pros and cons? Do we want to view this property?

VIEWING - SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT Step 3

Step 3: The viewing

Your buying agent will look into all available documents such as: documents regarding the homeowners association, leasehold, easements, land register, zoning plan, soil information and other applicable legal documents.

If you want to make an offer, we will weigh up all the information to make a realistic, well-considered offer.
We will advise you on the best strategy. Ultimately, you determine the amount of the offer we will be offering the seller.

THE DECISION – DO YOU WANT TO MAKE AN OFFER Step 4

Step 4: Your future home?

Your buying agent will look into all available documents such as: documents regarding the homeowners association, leasehold, easements, land register, zoning plan, soil information and other applicable legal documents.

DRAFT - ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS Step 5

Step 5: Draft purchase agreement

After a successful negotiation, the selling party will draw up the draft of the purchase agreement.
We will check this agreement. Are all agreements made included in the deed?

After inspection, we will present you with the draft. You will have the opportunity to ask all your questions and we can discuss any adjustments.

SIGNING - THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT Step 6

Step 6: Signing the purchase agreement

The purchase agreement is usually signed at the sales agent's office.

Your estate agent agent will stay in touch with the seller who will submit the documents to the notary.

Together we will draw up a plan for the transfer of ownership, the inspection of the house and the handover.

HANDOVER - CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PURCHASE OF YOUR HOME Step 7

Step 7: The legal transfer at the civil-law notary

After approval of the financing, we will receive all documents through the notary.

Your buying agent will check the draft deed of delivery and the bill of sale submitted by the notary in advance.
Just before signing with the notary, we will meet at the house for a final inspection. Is the property in the agreed condition?

Once this is done, we will go to the notary. This is a memorable moment.

After signing, it's official. Congratulations, you have become the owner of your new home!
